i can hover

i guess this pic sums it up. we are leaving eagle’s watch today. we’ve spent the last few months recording in a house called eagle’s watch in malibu. we put all our gear into the place and built a studio out of an awesome house. studios generally don’t have windows. it’s been incredible to work in a place overlooking the sea every day. we’re now moving into a proper studio with (every studio’s standard issue…) no windows. we’ll miss eagle’s watch. we filmed a lot in there so it’ll be on one of the versions of the album (no doubt it’ll say deluxe but i swear to god we’ll put so much awesome stuff in there it’ll make it deluxe).

two days ago i sat on the balcony and wrote. this is what it looked like. i guess you just have to cgi me into the chair. if you want to do it right i was fretting. trying to write words. so yes, fretting….
